Ballet 1

6+ Years of Age

Basic ballet skills, terminology, rhythm, and coordination are taught, practiced, and developed through a focused dance environment in this class.

Ballet 2

Any Age

This is a class for students who are new or returning to ballet. They will learn ballet fundamentals and terminology while developing strength, confidence, balance, and flexibility. These ballet technique classes are for students of all ages. By participating in this level of traditional ballet training, students learn concentration and endurance and become proficient in fundamental dance movement and ballet technique. Advancement to higher level classes is solely determined by the faculty.

These classes are for students that have been studying ballet for many years. They will continue to study ballet fundamentals and terminology while developing strength, confidence, balance, and flexibility.

Open Ballet

Any Age

This class moves at the pace of its students. All positions and exercises that are described in the ballet classes above are studied here. Adults come to class to get in shape and have fun.

Pointe 1/2

Ages 12 and Up

Pointe is the study of ballet while wearing blocked satin shoes that allow the dancer to raise the body onto the tips of the toes. Dancers must be currently studying ballet and have permission from their instructor.
