Coachella Valley Housing Coallition

In partnership with CVHC Coachella Valley Housing Coalition a low income housing organization, the YMCA provides after school tutoring program at 8 CVHC locations, this program if free of charge to resident children of CVHC.  The YMCA provides homework help, arts and crafts, field trips and guest speakers.  All children receive a daily nutritious snack and participate in our Y B Fit program that promotes exercise and nutrition. During the summer months children 18 years and younger receive free lunches sponsored by all 3 school districts. 
All programs are open to children Kindergarten thru 12th grade.
If you’re a teen and need school credit, signup for our Teen leader ship program.
You will be assigned to help with homework, arts and craft activities and learn how to lead activities.
You will be required to attend a monthly meeting at your site and volunteer at varies activities.

 Our newest addition to our YMCA family, is Rosa Gardens Apartments, located at 555 Rosa Parks Road in Palm Springs, Ca.  and another Hope Through Housing development  River Canyon at  34- 300 Corregidor dr.
