Your Privacy is Important to The Family YMCA of the Desert

This privacy policy sets forth our guidelines concerning the use of your personal information, including, without limitation, the reasonable efforts we make to protect your personal information in accordance with these guidelines, and about what choices you have concerning our use of such information. We may need to change this policy from time to time in order to address new issues and reflect changes on our site. We will post any changes here so that you will always know our policies regarding what information we gather, how we might use that information, and whether we will disclose that information to anyone.

Not selling your information – The Family YMCA of the Desert will not sell your personal information to anyone, for any reason, at any time.

This policy applies to your use of this site. This policy does not apply to your use of unaffiliated sites to which this site only links. The Family YMCA of the Desert is not responsible for any unaffiliated sites linked to this site. This website may, from time to time, provide links to other websites, including those operated by unrelated governmental agencies, non-profit organizations, and private businesses, all of which are unaffiliated with this website. Be advised that The Family YMCA of the Desert is not responsible for the content of such other unrelated/unaffiliated sites and shall not be liable for any damages or injury arising from that content. Any links to other sites are provided merely as a convenience to the users of this site. When you link to another unrelated site, you are no longer on The Family YMCA of the Desert website and this privacy policy will not apply. The Family YMCA of the Desert does not rent or sell personal identification information, including information provided by children, to outside marketers. Transaction Information

If you order any information, or subscribe to any program services offered on our site, we will ask you to complete an order form that requires certain information, including payment information such as a credit card number and expiration date, as well as general contact, billing and shipping information. We will use this information to complete the transaction for the products or services you ordered, and to collect payment. For your protection, all such information is collected and stored through encrypted means.

Refund Policy

Refunds are only given if the YMCA cancels a program. There are no credits given for illness, vacation or other personal reasons. When a person registers, they are reserving the time, space, and staffing, whether or not they, or their child, attends. In emergency situations, a participant may be given a credit voucher (not a refund) for certain program fees. These vouchers are approved by Program Directors. We do not refund donations, unless otherwise approved by our Executive Director.

Security Policy

Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.
